In Luke's account of the Easter story, the followers of Jesus were challenged to remember important prophesies of the Old Testament. In all 3 segments of the story, they are questioned, sometimes even reprimanded about their failure to see the OT predictions of the things happening during these heady days. Three times they are asked, "Don't you remember? Don't you get it?" And they didn't at first. But gradually, as they move from the garden in Jerusalem to the road toward Emmaus, and back to Jerusalem, the Easter light begins to dawn. In each place they are confronted with three types of evidence - physical, scriptural & eyewitness - and asked to respond.
