As we read this parable of Jesus and reflect on our own actions, how many would say they are 100% sheep? 100% goat? A mixture? When we truthfully evaluate our actions, it is hard to say with confidence that we are pure-bred sheep. There is always a trace of doubt when judgment is cast in terms of works.
