Revelation 20 deals with judgment and justice, and it is important to see that the two are tied together: our vindication or justice comes in  connection with the judgment of Satan and unbelievers.  As with almost all of Revelation, chapter 20 covers not just the future but the past as well. It gives us a heavenly perspective of the span from Jesus’ first to second comings.
